About
I hold a National Diploma in Information Technology (Software Development) from IIE Varsity College Nelson Mandela Bay, now Emeris. During my time at the Coega Development Corporation as a Digital Media Assistant, I applied my technical and creative skills to develop digital solutions that improved business processes and user experiences.
One of my key projects was developing a Power Automate automation system that digitised the marketing brief process across multiple business units. The system is still live and in use today, streamlining the way marketing requests are submitted and managed.
I also conducted UX research and developed wireframes for a mobile app redesign, helping reposition the app as an investor-focused toolkit. The proposed redesign incorporated role-based onboarding and zone-matching features to create a more tailored and intuitive user experience.
Recently, I completed a Web Design in Figma certification through Awwwards, further strengthening my interest in UI/UX design and the intersection between technology, design and user experience. As a developer, I am continuously exploring and upskilling in technologies and disciplines that challenge me to build more purposeful, intuitive and user-centred digital solutions.

I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.
The redesign introduced a structured onboarding flow replacing the original role-selection screen, walking investors through investment type, sector interest, projected investment value, and timeline with a unique element called 'Match Me with a Zone' that personalised the experience without requiring a login.
Life outside the code
I love building things
During my time at Coega, I worked on projects spanning web development, UI/UX design, automation and learning new skills
Web Design in Figma - Awwwards
Learned how to approach a design project from start to finish: analysing client briefs, building mood boards, developing strong design systems, and incorporating motion and animation to bring websites to life.
Anton Lembede Academy Deployment
Assisted in unblocking a stalled production deployment for a KZN Department of Education client of Coega - IIS configuration, Windows Server 2022, and MS SQL Server 2019 database migration.
Coega Website Redesign
Led research, wireframing across 20+ pages, and concept documentation for a full website redesign, including the rationale behind key structural and content decisions.
Coega Event Album Generator
Built an internal automation tool to streamline the creation of corporate event e-albums at Coega. The application transforms folders of event photographs into structured PowerPoint presentations using branded templates, reducing manual slide creation and image placement while ensuring consistent visual standards across digital publications.
